I snagged this quote off GirlTalk Blog as one of my goals this month (and lifelong!) is to purpose to minister to my husband.
Elisabeth Elliot gracefully states,
Marriage is a vocation. It is a task to which you are called. If it is a task, it means you work at it. It is not something which happens. You hear the call, you answer, you accept the task, you enter into it willingly and eagerly, you commit yourself to its disciplines and responsibilities and limitations and privileges and joys. You concentrate on it, giving yourself to it day after day in a lifelong Yes.” — Let Me Be a Woman, p. 102
What practical ways do you minister to your husband? Feel free to leave a comment!

I minister to my husband by trying to have a pleasant home for him to come to and be able to relax. I try to fix meals that I know he likes even though he likes to cook, during the week it is so hot. I get up every morning at 4:45 to fix his breakfast and lunch for him to take to work. If I think of something that I know I will please him, I try to do it. He does so much for me, that it makes me happy to do little things that will make his life much easier.
