Shaun and I regularly gmail chat on the internet when he is away from home and the other day we ended our conversation like this:
me: I love you more than gingerbread mochas
Shaun: and I love you more than a macbook air
Clearly, we have our priorities in line.
Hey, those things say something. It’s hard that we only have one word for love. I feel silly that I say it for a beverage and my kids, not to mention my husband. We have a little code- when we were dating, we would do the silly thing where we kept trying to top each other mathematically, such as “I love you infinity.” Well, I love you to infinity and beyond, etc. Unfortunately, Josh almost had a minor in math, so he schooled me every time. Thus, we coined the term “math,” which means every function of math, thus making it untoppable. We both get to say it and that’s that.
Haha – that’s great
Love it!
That’s awesome!
